The French air is good for the Yamahas that, after the disaster in Jerez, puffed out their chests in Le Mans, taking the entire front row. Viñales, Rossi and Zarco were the wonder trio in qualifying, but in FP4 the three also showed that they had the best pace.

The Le Mans sky didn't smile on the MotoGP riders today, with a track that only allowed for slick tyre in the final minutes of FP1 while the afternoon proved to be constantly wet.

It was another Friday to forget for Valentino, something of a tradition for him since climbing on the 2017 M1 for the first time. The strange conditions didn't help, with rain in the morning and a track that was not totally dry in the afternoon, leaving Rossi in 12th place.
